Richardson Housing Group has a 35-year tradition
of creating quality homes at an exceptional value
in northeast Atlanta.
Founded in 1973 by Allen Richardson, the company
built 10 homes in its first year and numbered just
two employees, Allen and his father, Melvin, who
provided expertise and financial support in the
early days. More than three decades later and
still family-owned and operated, Richardson
Housing Group has now built over 3,00 homes.
Richardson Housing Group’s mission is to enhance
the quality of life in Gwinnett County and
northeast Atlanta by building and developing
communities that blend homes of distinction, value
and design into the environment. Richardson limits
itself to building approximately 200 homes
annually to be able to provide world-class service
to its homeowners.
The many awards and professional accommodations
earned by Richardson attest its commitment to
quality and value. The company was recognized by
the US Small Business Administration as the 2007
Georgia Family Business of the Year. The company has also won multiple
Professionalism Awards from the Greater Atlanta
Home Builders Association and was named a
Governor’s Small Business of Excellence in 2006.
